Anthropoid

Anthropoid is a creature that resembles a human being in form. As a term in zoology, it denotes a higher primate, especially an ape or apeman belonging to the order Primates and suborder Anthropoidea. It also relates to the group of higher primates including apes, monkeys, and humans. The group that includes the great apes and gibbons is also called Anthropoid.
