Antiparticle

Antiparticle is a term in physics. It is opposite to a particle in electric or magnetic properties but has same mass as the given particle. These are subatomic particles such as electron or positron - electron has negative charge while positron has positive charge, but both have same mass. When given particle is electron its antiparticle is positron. When given particle is positron its antiparticle is electron. In this way, we see that every kind of subatomic particle has a corresponding antiparticle.
