Antiphonal

Antiphonal is an attribute of antiphon that is used in traditional Western Christian liturgy, typically as a refrain before or after a psalm or canticle. Antiphonal sentences are sung, recited, or played with or without music, alternately by two groups as part of ecclesiastical service.
