Antisense

Antisense is a technical term in genetics. It is an attribute of having a sequence of nucleotides that is complementary to a coding sequence of the strand of a DNA double helix undergoing transcription, or of a messenger RNA molecule. Such a sequence is obviously capable of binding to the coding sequence.
