Antiviral

Antiviral is a term in medicine and computing.

In medicine, it is a name given to a class of drugs that act against viruses and therefore are used to treat viral infections.

In computer science, a software is called antiviral if it is designed to protect computers from viruses, or detect and remove them from the computer system.
