Antonio Jose de Sucre

Antonio Jose de Sucre (1795-1830) was the first president of Bolivia (1826-28). He was a Venezuelan revolutionary who finally emerged as a statesman. He also served as Simon Bolivar's chief of staff. He got Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia liberated from the Spanish.
