Antony of Padua

Antony of Padua (1195-1234), also Anthony of Padua or Anthony of Lisbon, was a Portuguese Catholic priest, a Minorite missionary to the Moors in Africa. He preached to the fishes, who listened to him when no one else would. The fishes came in myriads to listen, and shamed the pagans into conversion, says the fable. His festival day is June 13.
