Anukul Chatterjee Angaria was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. Born 11.01.1908, Madaripur, Faridpur, Bangladesh, s/o Late Sarat Chandra Chatterjee. Matriculated , joined Yugantar Party. Arrested in Angaria Postal Mail Action in16.05.1932. sentenced to 10 years R.I.Deported to Andamns. Participated in second hunger strike in 1937. Repatriated in1937. After release detained in jail for Anti- War activities ( II World War) in 1940. Released in 1946 and went underground. Total jail period more thatn 11 years.
