Anuradha

Anuradha, literally who follows Radha in Sanskrit, is a name of a goddess in Hindu mythology and also a name of the constellation in Indian astronomy which is named after her.

Anuradha, according to Hindu mythology, was daughter of Prajapati Daksh. She was wife of Som. She is worshiped in the form of the seventeenth Nakshatra (constellation) as the goddess personified. She is named Anuradha because she follows Radha, the sixteenth Nakshatra.

Anuradha, in the Indian astronomy, is the seventeenth constellation or Nakshatra. Since it follows the sixteenth Nakshatra named Radha, it is called Anuradha. This constellation consists of four stars.
