Aosta

Aosta, also sometimes called Aoste, is the principal town in the Aosta Valley in Italy, 110 km northwest of Turin, in a fertile Alpine level valley, but where goitre and cretinism prevail to a great extent. It is famous as the birthplace of Anselm.
