Apsara

An Apsara, in Hindu mythology, is a celestial damsel, a fairy, nymph, or a divine beauty. Apsaras are typically consorts of gandharvas the heavenly musicians. They live in Heaven along with gods. They are a class of females in the city of Indra.

Apsaras are mainly singers and dancers of Swarg. They are extremely beautiful and have power to change their shapes. They have are endowed with a great celestial power.

They sometimes come to the Earth in their errand or because of a curse.
