Arabic Numeral

Arabic numeral is any of these symbols - 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 representing the numbers zero, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, and nine respectively in our decimal number system. These were originated probably in India, reached western Europe via Arabia and replaced Roman numerals by about 1200.
