Archibald Forbes

Archibald Forbes (1838 - 1900) was a noted Scottish war-correspondent, born in Morayshire. He was educated at Aberdeen University. served in a cavalry regiment, acted as war-correspondent for the Daily News during the Franco-German war, and had since been the brilliant chronicler of war news in all parts of the globe. He had published several volumes.
