Argolis
Argolis is the north-eastern peninsula of the Morea of Greece. It is 12 miles long by 5 miles broad. It is narrow and mountainous, projecting eastward into the Aegean Sea between the Saronikós Gulf (to the northeast) and the Gulf of Argolís.
