Argolis

Argolis is the north-eastern peninsula of the Morea of Greece. It is 12 miles long by 5 miles broad. It is narrow and mountainous, projecting eastward into the Aegean Sea between the Saronikós Gulf (to the northeast) and the Gulf of Argolís. It is also one of the provinces of Greece, a part of the region of Peloponnese.
