Arhat

Arhat is a term in Buddhism and Jainism for someone who has attained the goal of the religious life. Such a person in Buddhism was Lord Buddha himself, and therefore, Arhat word has been used as one of the names of Buddha in Buddhist literature. Similarly, in Jainism, a Tirthankar is called Arhat, that has been used as title in Jain literature.
