Arianism

Arianism is a term in Christian theology for the heresy of the Alexandrian priest Arius (c.250-c.336) that denies the divinity of Christ and maintains that the Son of God was created by the Father and therefore neither coeternal with the father, nor consubstantial. This heresy has been influential and has many followers.
