Arsacidae

Arsacidae is name of a dynasty of 31 Parthian kings, who wrested the throne from Antiochus II (286 BC-246 BC) the last of the Seleucidæ around 250 BC. The dynasty, established after revolt against the Seleucids, was in turn overthrown in AD 224 by the Persian Sassanids.
