Art deco

Art deco, the shortened form of French art décoratif, from the 1925 Exposition des Arts décoratifs in Paris, is a decorative art style characterized by precise and boldly delineated geometric shapes and strong colours. It was used mostly in household objects and architecture, and was the predominant decorative art style of the 1920s and 1930s.
