Artemisia

Artemisia is an aromatic bitter-tasting plant which is named after the Greek goddess Artemis to whom it was sacred. It belongs to the genus Artemisia, and family Compositae. Several species of artemisia are found which includes wormwood, mugwort, and sagebrush. Some of the species are cultivated for their feathery gray foliage, and some other are used in herbal medicines.
