Arum
Arum is a plant having arrow-shaped leaves and a broad leafy spathe enclosing a club-shaped spadix. It is native to North American and European regions. Arum bears bright red berries in late summer. Several species of this plant are found which belong to Arum, Arisaema, and other genera, and the family Araceae popularly known as the arum family. The jack-in-the-pulpit, cuckoopint, and skunk cabbage are particularly noteworthy. A number of popular houseplants, such as philodendrons and calla lilies, also belong to this family.
