Aryavartt

Aryavartt is the land of the Aryas, the civilized ones. In Ancient India, majority of the people living in this land were civilised, and thus it got this name.

In ancient times, the word Aryavartt referred to a certain geographical area of ancient India's, then called Bharatvarsh, Bharat Khand.

Aryavartt was the tract between the Himalayas and the Vindhya ranges, from eastern to western sea.
