Aschelminth
Aschelminth is a term in zoology for an invertebrate animal of a group of phyla which included the main phylum Nematoda and about seven other minor ones. It is distinguished by the lack of a well-developed coelom and blood vessels. Most of them are minute and wormlike, including the nematode worms, rotifers, and water bears. It derives its name from a former belief that the members of this group of animals had a fluid-filled internal sac. It was formerly placed in a phylum called Aschelminthes.Nearby pages
