Assassin bug

Assassin bug is a predatory or bloodsucking bug found chiefly in the tropical regions. It feeds mainly on other arthropods. Their bites can transmit microorganisms to humans. Chagas' disease is caused by such transmissions that causes damage to the heart and central nervous system. Numerous species of this long legged bug are found. They belongs to the family Reduviidae and suborder Heteroptera.
