Athabaskan

Athabaskan is a family of North American Indian languages and anything of or relating to this family. A speaker of any of the languages of this family is also called Athabaskan. It derives its name from the Lake Athabasca in Canada.

Navajo and several Apache languages of the southwest United States, several languages of coastal California and Oregon in the United States, and several languages including Chipewyan of Alaska and northwestern Canada are the members of this language family.
