Atomic theory

Atomic theory is the theory that all compound bodies are made up of elementary atoms in fixed proportions. Each element has effectively identical atoms but differ from the atoms of other elements. These atoms join together is a fixed proportion to form matters or compounds.

The early atomic theory said that all matter is made up of tiny indivisible particles or atoms.

The theory of existence of distinct, separable, and independent components in any field is also known as atomic theory.
