Aubrietia

Aubrietia, also aubretia, named after the famous French botanist Claude Aubriet (1668-1743), is a dwarf evergreen plant with dense foliage. Aubrieta is the plant's genus name, and its botanical name is Aubrieta deltoidea. It belongs to the family Brassicaceae. This Eurasian trailing plant bears purple, pink, or white flowers and is widely cultivated in rock gardens.
