Aurochs

Aurochs is a German wild ox, also called urus, now extinct, believed to have exterminated in Britain in the Bronze Age, the last one was killed in Poland in 1627. It was a large wild Eurasian ox, ancestor of domestic cattle. Its biological name is 'Bos taurus' belonging to the family Bovidae.
