Australoid

Australoid is a term in anthropology for a category of human race with very limited validity as scientific category. The term was introduced by 19th century anthropologists which is based on outdated notions of racial division of humankind. Today, the term is used only occasionally while making broad generalization. Though the term denotes someone belonging to the Australian Aboriginal peoples or something of or relating to them, its usage is potentially offensive.
