Autumn

Autumn is the third season of the year. In the northern hemisphere it spanned between September to November, and in southern hemisphere between March to May. It is the season when leaves fall from the trees and crops and fruits are gathered. As a term in astronomy it denotes the period between autumnal equinox and the winter solstice.
