Aye-aye

Aye-aye is rare nocturnal primate allied to the lemurs found in the woods of Madagascar. It has elongated fingers like twigs, and incisor teeth like rodents. They are active at night and pry insects from bark. Its zoological name is Daubentonia madagascariensis, and the family Daubentoniidae of which it is the only member.
