Azulejo

Azulejo is a kind of ceramic tile traditionally used in Spanish and Portuguese buildings. It is glazed and coloured tile. The tile derived its name from 'azul' literally blue in Spanish, however, colour variation is also found. The tiles were most popular between the last decade of 17th century and mid-18th century.
