Babinski reflex

Babinski reflex is the name of a reflex action named after the French neurologist Joseph Francois Felix Babinski (1857-1932). When the sole of the foot is stimulated, the big toe extends itself or remains extended due to this reflex action. It is considered normal in young infants, but it is an abnormal condition in others.
