Back focus

Back focus is a term in photography. When the lens of the camera is focused at infinity, it is the distance between the back surface of a lens and the focal plane, ie the image of an object. Such an error occurs generally in auto-focusing camera that focuses at the back of the object at infinity. In such a case an adjustment is made of the distance behind the lens, between the lens and the camera’s imager, which is also called back focus.
