Backswimmer

Backswimmer is a predatory aquatic bug. It swims on its back and hence its name. It uses its long back legs as oars to swim. It is able to capture even tadpoles and fish, though they are larger for its size. It belongs to the family Notonectidae, suborder Heteroptera, and the genus Notonecta. Several other genera are also found.
