Backwash

Backwash is the motion of a receding wave, a backward current of water and air caused by an object in it, or informally the liquid that flows back into the bottle or glass after taking a drink. The liquid flowing back is assumed to contain that person's saliva. However, the backwash is also the repercussion of certain action.
