Badderlocks

Badderlocks, also Balderlocks, is an edible seaweed found in northern Europe. It grows long greenish frond and a prominent midrib. Its botanical name is Alaria esculenta, and it belongs to the class Phaeophyceae. The seaweed is perhaps named after the Norse or Scandinavian god Balder.
