Baeg Un

Baeg Un (1299-1375) was a Korean Zen Buddhist monk who introduced the Chilese sect Im Je (Lin-chi in Chinese) to Korea. This sect advocated nonattachment to both material as well as spiritual goals, the ideal being a human free of all obsessions.
