Bagatelle

Bagatelle is a game of small balls that are hit and then allowed to roll down a sloping board. There are pins on the board as obstructions. There are also holes in it, which are numbered denoting the score achieved if a ball goes into it. In music, it is a short and light piece, especially played on piano.

Anything of little importance or a very easy task are also called bagatelles.
