Baggage claim

Baggage claim is an area in an airport from where the arriving passengers collect their baggage. The baggage are handed by them over to the staff of the aircraft at the boarding airport, which is then carried in the hold of the aircraft. On arrival at an airport, the baggage are unloaded and then handed over to the respective passenger in the baggage claim.
