Bahawalpur

Bahawalpur is a city in east central Pakistan. It is situated in the Punjab province. Formerly, it was a feudatory state in the northwest of India before the country was divided after independence in 1947. Before that it was the capital city of the Bahawalpur state. It was connected administratively with the Punjab during British Raj. After formation of Pakistan, Bahawalpur became its part.
