Bahr-el-Ghazal
Bahr-el-Ghazal was an old Egyptian province including the district watered by the tributaries of the Bahr-el-Arab and the Bahr-el-Ghazal. It was wrested from Egypt by the Mahdi in 1884. A district of French Congo lies West of it, and it was through it Marchand made his way to Fashoda.Nearby pages
