Bannockburn

Bannockburn is a traditional manufacturing village 3 miles southeast of Stirling in central Scotland. It was the scene of the victory, on June 24, 1314, of Robert the Bruce over Edward II. in the Battle of Bannockburn, which reasserted and secured Scottish independence. It has traditionally been manufacturing carpets and tartans.
