Bare

Bare is the state of being not covered or clothed, and also something without disguise or unconcealed. It also refers to something without its natural covering, such as bare tree. The basic and simple things without addition or explanation is also referred to as bare, such as bare acts.

It may also refer to a quantity only just sufficient, such as a bare majority, or surprisingly small, such as a bare one dollar. It must also be noted that it is sometimes used as an informal term for a large amount or number, such as 'bare lazy' or 'bare work'.

The bare bones are the basic facts about something, and bare one's soul is revealing the innermost feelings or secrets.
