Barindra Kumar Ghosh

Barindra Kumar Ghosh was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born on 5th of July 1880, son of Dr. K. D. Ghosh and brother of Arabinda Ghosh. He lived in Croydon, England. He was awarded death sentence but was commuted to life on 23 November 1909 and sent to the Andamans. He was repatriated in 1920 and released from Alipur Central Jail in 1920. He wrote books on Andaman deportation days called Dipantarer Katha. He was an eminent journalist and editor of Dainik Basumati for a few years. He died on 18th of April 1959.
