Barnegat Bay
Barnegat Bay is a bay in southeastern New Jersey in the United States known for numerous resorts. It is about 42 miles (68 km) long along the coast of Ocean County, and is separated from the Atlantic by barrier islands, also called Barnegat peninsula, and the north end of Long Beach Island. The bay is fed by several small rivers, including the Toms River and Metedeconk River, and is connected to the Atlantic by Barnegat inlet.
