Bartizan
Bartizan is a term in architecture for an overhanging wall-mounted turret projecting from the walls of ancient fortifications, such as at the top of a castle or church tower. It is derived from 'bertisene' which Sir Walter Scott revived and reinterpreted.Nearby pages
