Base jump

Base jump, also BASE jump, is a jump with a parachute from a fixed point, such as from a building or promontory, rather than an aircraft. BASE or base here is formed from B(uilding), A(ntenna tower), S(pan), and E(arth), which denotes the types of structure used for such a jumping.
