Bat

Bat is an implement to play certain games with, such as cricket, table tennis, and baseball. It is usually made of wood, has a handle to hold, and a solid surface to hit the ball. The person batting is also called bat, such as opening bat. Bats are also the pair of objects used by the guide on the ground while an aircraft is taxiing, called so because they resemble table tennis bats.
