Bat

Bat is a mammal with wings extending between its fingers, connecting the forelimbs to the body, and hindlimbs to the tail. Its wings are membranous, and it is capable of sustained flight. It belongs to the order Chiroptera. Many families and numerous species of bats are found, such as the large tropical fruit bats and numerous smaller bats. The large tropical fruit bats belong to the suborder Megachiroptera. They feed on fruit and have good eyesight. However, the smaller bats are mainly insectivorous. They belong to the suborder Microchiroptera. They use ultrasonic echolocation. In appearance, they are mouselike. Bats are regarded unattractive and unpleasant, and therefore, an unattractive and unpleasant woman is sometimes referred to as bat.
