Batholith

Batholith, literally the rock in the depth in German coined from Greek, is a term in geology for a very large igneous intrusion extending deep in the earth's crust. It is a very large mass of intrusive rock, usually larger than 100 sq km (40 sq mile) in area, formed from cooled magma.
